Learning standard:
1.2(3) Asking for  helping , accept and refuse for helping in the situation, appropriately.

Terminal Objectives:

-         Students will be able to answer the direction to questioner.

Enabling Objective

1.       Student will be able to listen the question about direction and comprehension them.

2.       Student will be able to ask the question about direction correctly.

3.       Student will be able to answer the question about direction correctly.

 Contents:

-         VDO about the direction

-         Power point about the direction’s vocabulary and how to ask, refuse , answer the direction

-         The map for create conversation

Vocabulary: go straight on, turn left, turn right, intersection, behind

, in front of, near, next to, between, across from, far from, corner

PRE-TASK (15 Minutes)
 
 
 
- Teacher talks to the students about the content of this lesson, such as asking for place, answering the question for place, vocabulary for direction, question ball game.
 
 
- T asks Ss to answer the questions
 
1. Why the direction is very important for you?
 
2.  Did you have some knowledge about how to tell the direction?
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
-Ss listen and answer the question.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Observe student’s performance when they answer the question.
 
 
TASK CYCLE  (30 Minutes)

 
- Teacher shows the VDO about direction to the student and asks the question.
 
1. Can you remember vocabulary about direction from this VDO?
 
 
- Teacher gives sheet no.1, 2 to the students and shows the power point for teaching the vocabulary and how to ask and answer for direction.
 
- Teacher gives task no.1, 2 to the students and let them work in pairs.
 
Task 1: Look at the map then writes your answer in each blank.
Task 2 : Study the map then write True of  False
 
- T checks the correct answers with Ss.
 
- Teacher lets students to divide group for study the map about  Nakon Si Thammarat province and present it.
 
 
 
 
 



 
 
Language Focus  (15 minutes )
 
 
- T discusses about imperative sentences to give instruction- imperative sentence usually begins with the base from of the verb.

* Turn right and ……..

-Ss watch and listen the VDO.
 
 
- Ss answer some of direction’s vocabulary that they can remember.
 
- Students try to understand the content in power point.
 
 
 
- Students practice the exercise and work in pairs.
 
 
 
 
 
 
- Students check the correct answers with teacher.
 
- Ss divide group for create the conversation by using the map about  Nakon Si Thammarat province and choose 2 students of each group for presentation.
 
 
 
 
 - Students receive task no. 3; make group and matching the imperative verb with the picture.
